About
This 6-exercise video routine focuses on releasing tension and improving range of motion in the low back and pelvis, specifically tailored for equestrians. Do you have trouble swinging your leg over to mount and dismount? Are you struggling with the sitting trot or canter? Does your low back hurt? If so, the one might be for you! Developed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, these exercises address common stiffness caused by riding postures and daily activities. The sequence aims to improve rider symmetry and seat stability through targeted mobility work. Spend just 10 minutes 3 to 4 times per week to enhance your connection with your horse and reduce physical discomfort after time in the saddle. Equipment: yoga block (or get creative- a book works too), lacrosse or tennis ball (optional), chair, comfortable floor space Total time: 10 minutes
